Seven Sins

The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation has funded Pop-Up to undertake collaborative research into a production based on the Seven Deadly Sins.

It will be a show for a family audience with seven performers that will tour to seven cities over seven weeks, giving a seven minute portrayal of each sin.

Pop-Up has been running stimulating workshops at venues throughout the UK, and we would like to thank the many artists from a diverse range of art form backgrounds who have contributed to the process. The workshops took place in the following cities:

Edinburgh (sloth)
Bristol (lust)
Leeds (anger)
Nottingham (envy)
Brighton (pride)
Tunbridge Wells (greed)
London (gluttony)

We would also like to convey our thanks to all the host venues around the country.

We are preparing a report on this incredibly rich and stimulating process and will arrange a final workshop conference to look at the best ways to take the project forward.
